Have You Ever Encountered the “Wrong Mistake”?

So maybe I’m wrong, or, I’m definitely wrong with the “Ali mask” thing. I stared closely at the mask, and nevertheless,  it’s Ali’s face. Hek! 🙂 Oh dear, I don’t wanna catch the mouse anymore! 🙂

And maybe I was wrong again when I accidentally multicast my private message in the community this day. I was talking to one, insuring she will receive my message I included my name in the receiver. After tapping Tab+Enter, VIOLA, so many message boxes popped out my screen. Oh my… what have I done??? So everyone’s asking me “What?”, “What attachment?”, “Ma’am, is this for me?” “Ha?” “What’s this?”. Yeah.. things like that. I laughed real hard. I’m such an idiot.

Embarrassing, but yes, I accidentally sent the message to the Deans, Chairs and to the rest of the community! Ola!  Can you imagine how many replies I have to make?

Oh.. thank God Br. Gus doesn’t have an IP messenger. Most of all, THANK GOD THE MESSAGE IS NOT ABOUT GOSSIP, hahaha! 😉

 

Poty is Playing Chess.. “Occasionally”

“Mas nakakakaba pa’to kesa sa paglalaro ng Volleyball. (This is more heart stomping than playing Volleyball)” , said one of my teammate during the Inter-Lasalle Sports Fest held last Saturday, May 25.

Yes, of all the sports I attended to, indeed, Chess is one hell of a game! It’s not physical, obviously, but, it gives you adrenaline rush, it exercises your brain, it keeps your heart from beating fast and it gives you A LOT of sweat!

Many would say Chess is “boring“, or perhaps, it’s “nothing” compare to Basketball, Volleyball and other sports with “ball”. Well, I would say, lucky are those who can play Chess for Chess are to those who can play alone, think alone and can contain all nervousness ALONE.

There’s team in Chess, that’s why there’s so-called “Chess team”. Its only difference with other sports team is when the player sit in front of the board, teammates cannot interfere anymore. The player cannot call   for help nor speak with the team. Yes, it’s just the player and his/her tactics.

For those who are not able to feel what a chess player does feel when playing the mind game, nervous strain starts upon seeing the opponents. Heart beats 2x faster upon sitting in the chair, 4x faster when the first move was made and 6x faster when the game is already firing up. The next thing you know is you don’t want to play anymore because you’re losing strength and just want to say “I WANNA STOP! THIS GAME IS MAKING ME CRAZY” haha! But of course, the game must go on up to the last piece. NEVER SAY DIE! DEFEND THE KING! 🙂

I’ve been playing chess, “occasionally”, since high school. My love for the game started when I was 9 yrs old after watching several neighbors enjoying the board game. Intrigued, I practiced the game with my older cousins. By then, I enjoyed playing it.

Reaching College, I decided to try out in DLSU-D’s Chess team TO AVOID TAKING PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND NSTP (Community Service) subjects. I am fond of PE (ball games, dancing, exercises) and community service, but, I don’t want to take “swimming” class because it was scheduled once a week at 12:00 noon! Now, that’s horrible, hehe!

By then, we (my teammates) were called “The Woodpushers“. Don’t ask why because the answer is already there, hehe!

The saga still continues, I’m still playing against other Lasallian schools in the Philippines, once a year. Unlike before, I’m playing now for unity and fun. Nervousness and feeling of I-want-to-drag-my-heart-out is still there, but, it’s more manageable now than my younger age.

Cliche but true, “Play with the board, not with the person.” I don’t know if I’d still want to play next year, but, if they’ll ask me, WHY NOT? 🙂

And yeah, to become GM is far from reality. That’s insane! hahahaha!

Hello World!

Hi dolls! 🙂 It’s been months, I miss blogging! And I miss you too! 😀

♫♪ I’m a barbie girl in a barbie world. LIFE IS PLASTIC, IT’S FANTASTIC! ♫♪

Do you hear me? Yes! 🙂 Okay, one of my “brain minions” tapped me. He said “Master, it’s time to update your wordpress. Hello, earth to Poty!” Ok, ok.

Last February I attended DLSU – D Living the Legacy. We were all wearing long gowns and barong /suit for male. I wore this fancy fuchsia pink long gown; it made me look so brown.  The event lasted for like two hours or less (which I’d never minded because my tummy was screaming to death).

I’m a huge fan of events, elegant events are on top of my list.

Employees of DLSU – D and guests were all dressed up. It was fun until half hour passed we noticed there’s nothing so exciting with the event / program. Everything went so fast, we were all sitting with our lovely dresses on, speakers went up and down the stage, the food came in; the program ended.

To sum it up, we were all so disappointed. The organizers should have considered  cocktail dresses instead of instructing us to be in formal if we will be sitting all the time, right?

But at least, the food is deliciouso! 🙂

PLL – Misery Loves Company

Have you seen the Episode 16 of Prettly Little Liars? It’s fully loaded and I’m so happy how it ended(minus the streaming in Rutube, it definetly sucks!).

Anyway, here some of the conversations they had in the episode:

SCENE 1

Emily: “This tea smells like maybe it is poisoned. Take it from me, my girlfriend and I have roofied one another dozens of times.”
Spencer: “Whatever herbal secret remedies Meredith is giving you, they’re not helping you look any less ratchet.”
Aria: “Noted. And actually, I’m just as beautiful without the flu as any other time.”
Hanna: “I brought you these DVDs of a show called Saved By The Bell. It was popular before anything was invented.”

Liars: “Isn’t there anywhere else you could be instead? Like with Ella, or maybe you could call your dad back? It just seems like this Babysitter Meredith thing is the stupidest possible plan.”
Aria: “No, because of reasons. And also Meredith is onboard with helping me figure out if my dad killed our best friend that one Labor Day weekend. If so, that would vastly outweigh the time he made me lie about him sleeping around. A psychic scar that I am still working out for myself.”

SCENE 2

Toby: “Whatever we’re doing, I think tomorrow is too soon.”
Mona: “Spencer’s still not telling you A has been active the entire time you were in Radley? That bitch can keep a secret. One of many things I respect about her.”
Toby: “I just don’t know about all this.”
Mona: “Face front, soldier. It’s not up to me, it’s up to A+. ‘Fear cuts deeper than a sword.'”
Mona: “They need to understand that She’s in charge.”

• It’s heartbreaking to see Spencer’s crying. She’s honestly inlove with Toby, remember she surrendered her virginity to him?  Toby have reasons, for sure, why he allied with Mona and it’s certain Spencer want to hear those reasons. It’s really hard to see her been fooled, played and betrayed by the one whom she trusted so much (I guess you will feel the same if you’d experienced the same).

• I love the new hairstyle of Hanna and her new look too!

• Aria is definelty beautiful even she is sick.

• Paige and Caleb have beautiful heart, I wish they will succeed in helping out the girls.
• Remember, Mona really wanted Spencer to be in the “Team A”.
• As for Meredith, she’s really a psycho bitch. Mr. Montgomery is believable in his statement. I don’t think she killed Ali for some reasons.
• Ali is using secrets of people in Rosewood to blackmail them. And I think she created this “Team A” to work for her so nobody knows she’s still alive, hiding and pulling the strings all the time.
• Team A don’t kill PLL girls. They just threatened them.
• As for Emily, she’s really beautiful.

So, how did you find the episode 16? Fully loaded right? The show is getting more exciting than ever. I feel like I’m in a maze looking for the way out. There are so many open holes that still needs to be connected.

Hmmm, let us see what will happen next.
